Porter and Daddy got chicks for Easter! We have purchased two batches from the feed store for a total of 10 chicks. We did have one fatality so far and no it was not from Daisy! (Natural causes)
It is surprising how quickly they grow. They are already becoming "feathered out".
I also went to the snow kayak races for closing weekend at Monarch Mountain the local ski resort. I just hung out with my Mommy and Franny in the bar so I had to wear my hip LA shirt from Meredith and my Mommy's cool hat! Peace out!
I have learned to sit up in my seat! I was looking at the pretty Easter flowers from Daddy and helping Mommy to bake bread.
I say "Good-bye" to Daddy every morning. I look right at him and give him a big smile. But I am not so sure about his scratchy beard when he kisses me!
I went and visited Mommy's preschool class. The children were very excited to see me and to see my Mommy. They knew a lot about "Quarter" as they called me! They knew that I had a carrot hat and a bear hat. Shawna held my hand and loved rocking my car seat. She said that she missed my Mommy at school so much.
When Jacob saw Mommy take the first picture he just had to hop in and show me how he could wink. Nice winking! Zachary wanted to know if we would be back tomorrow, we said we would visit again when the weather was nice and we could play outside!
Here I am in my Dad's sling enjoying Michael Franti and Spearhead. My Mom was happy that my big Dad was wearing me since the concert was at Copper Mountian on the last day of the season and one of the first sunny and warm days of spring. After the concert we went out for Indian food and Porter threw up all over me in the restaurant! Yeah for Porter!
You can see the stage, mountain and Jumbotron ahead. It was a busy place but once we found Babyland (where all the families and kids hang out) we were much more comfortable.
